Your Money or Your Life: 9 Steps to Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence by Vicki Robin This was one of the first books I read that got me interested in financial independence. It’s all about how you can calculate the amount of your life and time you spend for the money you earn.
The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America’s Wealthy by Thomas J. Stanley & William D. Danko Stanley and Danko travel the country studying the lives of real millionaires. It’s not all about glitz and glam, it’s about smart choices and spending your money on what’s important. Check out my article about it.
Stop Acting Rich: And Start Living Like a Real Millionaire by Thomas J. Stanley This is a follow-up of The Millionaire Next Door. In this book, Stanley discusses the differences between the glittering Rich,” the “Wanna-Be Rich,” and the “Real Rich.” It discusses some of the reasons and ways people spend their money.
